Had a 2009 Octy vRS CR170 DSG estate for a couple of weeks and really like it - surprised by the amount of pull. Annoying rattle in what sounds like the B pillar (right by my ear) I think on both sides. Cheers!

Hi I couldn't find any relevant previous threads other than this not helpful one for my situation https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/536808-odometer-mileage-has-gone-down-since-last-year/ Unfortunately the garage that did the first MOT for my 2023 Skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI e-TEC in February did not appreciate the distance on the odometer was km rather than miles (I have been taking the car a few times to Europe and had changed the distance display to metric and never thought of changing it back

I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. So here i am, about to order a Smokey Silver 1.5tsi DSG SEL, but i have never ordered a new car before so am a bit ' giddy ' on what to add in options..... The spare wheel is a given and f

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder? Any tips on keeping it secure without damaging the interior would be great. Thanks in advance!

One is the reversable boot floor, carpet one side and a sort of plastic the other. Both items are in great condition too Second is a rear sun screen, it's a mesh material in a metal frame that you clip inside the hatch window, it keeps out a ton of heat and you can take it out for winter, you can't see into the car also. My 280 had tinted side windows but the rear glass was not done. Both are huge and would be prohibitively awkward to post. If you want either you WILL need to come to Swindon.

Hi all. About a month ago a picked up my first car, a 2016 Fabia. The dealership noted 'applied lubricant front window mechanism' Since driving it the past month, the window was become very squeaky! I've applied silicone spray WD40 today but no fix. Any other thoughts? The noise is unbearable 20260620_184523(1)_1_1.mp4
