Need to get som oil for my fabia 1.2TSi and came across Castrol Edge LongLife 3, 5W-30 .

But they come out in different subnames making it very confusing as to which one to choose or not choose,price range is nearly the same and they all meets specs VW 504 00 / 507 00.

Mobil 1 ESP will do the job.

Any decent 5w 30 fully synthetic is up to the job. That's why I use the best. Posted above.

Thought Skoda recomended Shell, but my filler caps says Castrol and we all know Mobil is the best!

For top ups I have used anything that matches the spec.

as long as it meets the spec its fine... oil changes in my vRS are done with syntium 5000xs , an oil thats used in BMW diesels! lol...

............thanks guys and for others after a bit of research i decided to go for the Castrol EDGE FST 5W-30, LongLife3, VW, Audi, BMW LL-04, MB | 5L x1.

Next time might look into Mobil 1 ESP.

Castrol Edge LongLife 3, 5W-30 that's the correct stuff.. which is besides the point as when your car has it's service they will drain that oil and put in Quantum Gold long life 3 in it.
