Featured Replies

Thanks to Speedsport I fitted the Heko front window draught things today.

Needed a little bit of fiddling to get the window to go back up the first couple of times, but all seems well now.

And?

It's no good just saying you fitted them!!

Were they any ruddy good?

I don't know, I haven't been out in the car!!

I had a nice sit in the sun, then walked through town to try and find a grave in an old cementry, then I came home and had a cup of tea!

Now I'm going to have my dinner and go up the pub for quiz night!!

Hah!

An old cementry, eh? Linked to the Kray twins, mebbe?

But then, a fitting place for a Grumpy Old L. (L for Llanigraham if you must ask. Lol)

Cementry. Funded by Blue Circle - remember them?

One advantage you now have Graham is that you can leave the front windows an inch or so down to let hot air out whilst parked, and no-one will know! In sun or rain too. Mind you, if someone was determined to get in, your car would be slightly less secure with the windows ajar.

However, of course, in your beautiful part of the world, no-one would dream of attempting to force entry into a parked car!

Correct John.

I even left the keys in the ignition one night.

George,

I was trying to find the grave of 2 young brothers killed in the Abermule rail crash of 1921, who are buried in a disused cemetry in town. Unfortunately it was locked, but I now know where the key is, so shall have another hunt tomorrow.

You Mis-read me quoting you!!!!

You said "cementry" not cemetry.

My twaddle was based on cement. Cement as in concrete. Geddit?

G'nite.

All.

I think you'll find that was Burke & Hare in the early to mid 19th century. :giggle:

It's his eyes you know... Not quite as sharp as they used to be.

Well Graham is getting on a bit ;)
