Brembo owners.....

Featured Replies

Hopefully a nice, quick and easy I one for you!

One of my brake hoses has split :(

Am I able to simply rock up to seat as ask for a replacement hose for the cupra r Leon or do I need a different type given it will be attached to my vRS??

Cheers in advance

Jay

I`m pretty sure its just a normal LCR one. When I bought mine it come with normal LCR ones & I didnt have to buy anything else.

Ha!!

Had you asked me before I picked up my car from the garage, I would have said not long, but sounds like it may be for a while now :(

Coming to Castle Combe, hose permitting? :D

The brembo's are off mine now, the hose split whilst the mechanic was taking them off.... More worried about the heavy knock she's developed since I dropped her off last night and picking up tonight.

Time will tell, but if I don't need to replace the suspension or any other big hit on my account, may very well pop along for a cheeky blat around the track!

Track is mainly full - 1 spot potentially could be taken though - furry is in doubt

even vrs hoses will fit fine

Really? My mechanic said they had different connectors? (to the caliper)

Do it! Cheap as chips for a bit of tracktime.

We could convoy down, I'll be car cleaning the day before

at mine and you're welcome to join me...

i bought brembo's and when i ordered braided lines i told them i need one end for the fabia and the other end for lcr and he said they was the same part number, so just ordered fabia vrs lines and job done

the braided lines had the same connectors as the original lines

ross also used his non-braided original lines when fitting his brembos

Will sort the suspension woes and see where I am, but well up for this. Only problem is that I have a trackday booked with a Nissan gtr and a lamborghini the week before so may make the vRS seem slow round the track!

Told you it won't be long before our first cleaning session Garry.... It's desperately needed!!

How often do you get to give your own car a bootfull without the worry of getting nicked?

I'm putting my alloys back on today, just spent over 2 hours sealing and waxing them. ;)
