A few outings at lunchtime - March 2012

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've recently decided to dive head first into photography/photoshop, endlessly watching vid tutorials and reading trying to get a better understanding of imaging. I've got a few questions to ask and would like to see others work but im not sure if there are any forums/networks which are catered for sharing pics with avid photographers/photoshoppers.

Anyway, took a few snaps during the week because its been such lovely weather :) Please let me know what you think.

I think many should be labelled as "too much photoshop" :giggle: . Its quite hard to find that balance of realism and pretty colours.......

I must stress, Im new to this so I burn peoples retinas out Im very sorry. :whew:

Heres the album:

(Wow, thats impressive of flickr making a slideshow.. new to flickr also....)

I really like them, especially the macro ones (do you have a macro lens or were you just using a normal one?)

Are they post processed? Just theres one or two with some odd colour tinges, and I'm pretty sure Nikons don't throw colours like that lol (I have two!). Other than that they look good, nice and sharp. What lens are you using?

You mean the slight pink tinge in a few of them Loz? That can be easily tweaked out.

What camera kit are you using?

No, a couple look a bit yellow, another looked blue

Hey, yeah they had a quick run through on photoshop. I was eye-balling the colour temp which is probably why some were a bit too yellow/blue. I didn't know how to find the natural grey colour till a few days ago (still learning) . How did you know it was a nikon?

Camera kit is Nikon D60 with the 18-55mm, 55-200mm and a prime 35mm (don't think i used this one for any of the above though).

Lovely pictures, but where are the Gays you are outing! :giggle:

How did you know it was a nikon?

Haha! I am super sleuth!! ;)
