Rear Screen Washer Not working

Featured Replies

I discovered yesterday that the rear screen washer isnt working on my Fabia VRS.

I susspect its a pipe come off the pump of something cus I can hear the pump going but instead of washing the rear screen I get a puddle of soapy water under the engine.

Any Ideas how difficult it is to get the the pump or should IU just drop it into my dealers to be sorted under warranty?

I had this on a Fabia a few years ago. The dealer sorted mine in 15 minutes.

It's right under the car and a pain to get to.

Just take it in and they can do it while you wait

My dealer fixed mine in 30 secs. His comment was - 'I hope it's the easy one' (which it was). A pipe connection had come apart behind the engine on the front bulkhead.

yes, non easy one is an airbox out job.

 ours was a small black pipe behind the battery/air filter (R/H side when you look from the front) on the bulkhead it was hanging loose so I just popped it back on, it must have froze the rear jet and the back pressure must have pushed it off. ;)
