on the way to awesome to get the cruise control fitted this morning the car started playing up :( bad times for me :(

made a clunk as if i'd bottomed it out and jerked slightly , now sounds like a cv joint has packed in but ccan here some noise from the box on tick over ? car has done 134,000 miles and is well looked after but believe the diff bearings may have killed there rivets?

if so what box code do i need to replace it while i get mine rebuilt????

need one asap as off work this week and need transport????

also does anyone do the bolt upgrade like they do on the mk3 golf gti rather than crap rivets ????

know apr do some but can they be used with stock diff????

where can i get a bearing or re build set????

Look in the for sale section m8 think there's atleast 1. As long as you stop driving it, it sounds like you're lucky and can just replace the rivets. Quite often when they go they make a hole in the gearbox!

bought a box out of a 55 plate with 60k on it £250 ?????????????? that ok was just needed so had to stand it , gonna use old clutch as got my solid flywheel to go in when i get a sports clutch
