17811 EGR Flow Deviation on a 1.4 16v

ok so last week just after a service i had a egr valve code after a day of drving, cleaned all the system out as per posts on my last thred, removed valve pipe cleaned all out with carb cleaner, even the little hole on the throttle body

now after cleanning all the system out ive got a 17811 EGR Flow Deviation, the system was realy clean just a slight build up of carbon but no oil as the threds said they maybe?

any ideas?

vag-com didnt pick up the error buy my other universal code reader did !!!!!

yes i did using the laptop and the vag tool on a usb cable

is there anything else i could try or a different program?

Did the valve run through a full cycle? Did you do it whilst running?

no didnt do it while it was running, the board rate of my device wont allow live capture :-(

Ok stripped everything down AGAIN !!!

looks like by cleaning the valve ive managed to knacker it !!!

its sticking shut, if i disconect the valve it runs fine and no code

has anyone got a spare on knocking arround?
