Whining noise from altonater and battery light flashing on dash

Can any1 give me some advice, my battery light started flashing on way home and wen I was parking I heard a whining noise which seems to be coming from the alternator belt, can any1 help, thanks

Good afternoon, Coming in from the Fabia side, I am looking at this Skoda Octavia 64 plate estate elegance. It's in a very nice blue and just 90k miles. The seller wants £4750 for it but hasn't disclosed that its CAT N (potential bargaining angle), the front bumper has been replaced with a new one, however the replacement bumper doesn't include the headlight washer - 8X1 - they sent me PR codes - will have to confirm on inspection of car. The car also has the front assist module? (square

Anyone else ordered the new Elroq? Ordered the edition 85 with Maxx pack in Moon White on 9th December. Lead time given as 17 weeks .Hoping no delays. Demo models should arrive February so dealers will be busy with test drives. Love the styling inside and out. Counting down the weeks.

Hi, I have just bought a 2023 Karoq auto but am disappointed to find the car does not creep to allow for slow movement parking.Yes I know, I should have checked during the test drive. Is there a setting I have missed? I have read we can cause damage to the clutches if we use the brake to "creep". Is that correct? Also, my 12 year old Mercedes auto will hold the car on a hill, perhaps on a queue of traffic, by pressing the HOLD feature but the Karoq will need the Auto stop feature turned on.
