DSG and ESP + HHC

Featured Replies

Just wondering has ESP + HHC (hill hold control) always been standard on the 1.2 TSI DSG?

I'm pretty sure when my wife bought her Octactiva a few years back it had only just become standard on that model with DSG.

Hi,

yes I believe so and the original Sept 2009 brochure does list both functions as standard on the DSG; mind it took some time for the model to actually make an appearance.

According to my April 2010 Yeti brochure ESP became standard from the Yeti S level and up on 4x4 and 1,2 DSG models only. Only on the Elegance trim was ESP + HHC standard on any engine, gearbox or drivetrain combination.

Hill hold control was a stand alone option from the SE level and up on 4x4 models apart from the 1,2 DSG on which is was standard from the S level up.

So yes ESP + HHC has always been standard on the 1,2 DSG (since you do not get a DSG Yeti E spec).
