Hi guys. Can any of you good people help me with your vast knowledge as i have no idea about engines. My felicia 1.6 cube has began to stall when i break to stop at the lights etc. i then turn the key and it starts first time but i have to rev it up or it will stall again. When driving its perfect. I got a full service new timing belt tensioner water pump oil sump last month so its been running like a dream. Is this new problem electrical? Is it maybe the ecu? My ecu part number is 032 906 030aj can i just buy a new one and replace or is there something else? I was told you get different ecu's depending if you have an imobilisor? I dont think i have an imobilisor. Again thanks for any advice.

Common query by all accounts and should be a simple fix.

The throttle bodies tend to get a bit mucky over the years so take it off and give it a good clean.

Then, reset it with VAGCom or disconnect the battery for a wee while, does the same job.

Mine old 1.6 was the same. Never happened again after that.
