Been thinking about a few style changes and was wondering what others thought/has anyone done it before?

first idea was a gated shifter

And the second idea was spraying the grille insert anthracite with a black surround.

1. Save up for a Ferrari

2. Doesnt sound too hot. Black and anthracite surround maybe.

A gated gearlever is very hard to do, there has to be no play in it what so ever. A lot of precision engineering involved lol

^^^^ what he said. i tried this a few years ago on my old saff cozzie and it was shat! needs to be spot on or it dont work.

I think the gated shifter, whatever about the work involved, wouldnt look right in an Octy.

AS Liverpool-Lad said, save for a Ferrari, or buy a vintage sports car. Only things that loook good with them IMO.

And the grille, black (Plasti-Dip, someone on here did it, and it does look really well), with a colour matched surround.
