Insp Indicator still on

Featured Replies

My car was serviced and had an MOT yesterday but noticed this morning that the insp indicator and spanner is still on the dashboard.

Is there a way of resetting it and does it make any difference whether it is there or not?

Obviously should have been done by the dealer but, iirc,

you hold the trip button in, turn ignition on but don't start the engine, and keep holding the trip button in for approx 10 seconds.

That should do it

Thanks for the reply, it worked.

Sounds like the dealer did not plug in the vagcom. I would take it back and let them do it :peek:
