Well is this a good idea, want to give it wee clean and i dont have the right torx bits, can i spray it with carb cleaner....

i was asking Jabba the same thing as i'm waiting for a filter cleaning kit from them at the mo... Elton tells me they do clean the MAF sensors on the cars and use an electrical contacts cleaner of some sort. i thought this would have been any type of Isopropanol cleaner but he said he wasnt sure so i asked him to send me a can of the stuff they use.

apparently as long as your careful not to damage the sensor your ok to clean it. i'll just leave mine in the casing and spray the cleaner over it.

Cheers Nigel, thanks for that, I have electrical contact cleaner (I'll just check the contents) I also have isoproply alcohol neat which I sprayed lightly on before may try that again...
