TFSI coilpack conversion for 20v engines.

The TFSI plugs produce a more consistent and hotter spark.

PSI tuning now doing the adapters required to fit the packs

So you've not noticed the smoother running they were talking about ?

Wonder if the quality of UK vs US petrol makes any difference ? (87ron US spec vs 95ron or better UK spec)

The RON number in the US are the same spec as here just lower numbers IIRC

Something like MON instead of RON, same petrol though

I was reading up about this on Vortex and it seems people either report smoother running or no change and dyno tests seem to show the same or very slightly less power.

I do like the red topped coilpacks you can get though.

just bought a set of four mk6 ones from germany for £17+postage feeling rather pleased with myself

as you may be aware my car has suffered a lot from missfires due to the LPG/remap and the bolt downs have been great but I have to regap the plugs every month or two when driving hard. I have been getting missfires since tuesday so I am going to regap tomorrow but out of curiosity pulled up this thread and went ebaying to see what the prices were like. UK ones from a scirroco, the guy wants 29.99 each for 2nd hand, bit rich so i though I would search worldwide and bingo

I will let you guys know how much if any difference they make when they get here. just need to fabricate the adapters and hold downs now to replace the Hitachi boltdown coilpacks that are great as well (pikey versions of course :p)
