My white VRS doesn't have the black pack fitted and I am in two minds weather to buy the lights and grill and get the roof wrapped. Has any one on here had there roof wrapped and have any recommendations around the Manchester area?

Hey mate, Ive got a red vRS but didn't have the black roof as standard so got it wrapped shortly after buying the car.

Defo worth it just for the looks, makes the car look lower and more aggressive.

Mine was around the £150 mark I think, just make sure you use some good other wise you will be seeing your self getting re-done.

Whats the deal with car washes and vinyl wrap?

Dunno never been thru one and i dont plan on just cos they scratch the car not because of the roof...

Never go through an automated car wash! Death to the paint!

They should be fine against even the most powerful of professional (detailer/valeter) pressure washers.

I have had a quote for £160 to do the roof and the spoiler. I'm guessing the best thing would be to take the spoiler off to do a proper job. I've noticed on the factory black roof they put a piece of black rubber in the groove on the back quarter to give a clean line between the different paint colours. I take it a clean line can be achieved with the vinyl so this is not required?
