vRS seat cloth

Featured Replies

Ive noticed on my drivers seat right hand side cloth has become bit hairy, is this common occurance with seat cloth. Ive only done 1600miles. Its obviously where getting in and out of the car causes rubbing on material. Just wondering if its a warrenty issue.

Don't know about warranty but it is common. The fabric stains easily and is prone to pulls too :thumbdwn:

Do a search there has been posts about this before, I think someone has had it covered on warrenty

Believe 'Waynef' had his seat replaced under warrenty.

Had this problem with my old vRS but seems fine with my latest one 7500 miles now on clock.

Basically, it looks good, but it's completely impractical. Despite my best efforts to clean it, treat it with Supagard, ban eating and drinking from the car, etc... the seats on my Octy are still stained. The cloth is also going fuzzy where it meets the front bolster.

I think the only solution is going to be to save up and get the cloth replaced with leather.
