guys, it seems my tailgate lifter strut jimmys have desided they dont want to work aswell as they did :(

they flop if only half open

are they a easy swap over ??

Yeah, flat screwdriver to slightly prise open the little clips on each end (not right off, just slightly open) and they just pop off the ball stud underneath

Mine do the same thing... May look into getin sum new ones meself!!

I know it sounds daft but remember to wedge a brush handle or something to hold it up while you do it else when you pop one side off you'll end up with boot lid trying to decapitate you
