It is official ......from junction 14 to 18 in both directions there could be up 7 mobile camera vans parked on the bridges over this 41 mile long stretch...... so you could in theory lose your licence twice driving down here......also be warned they are proposing to fine people for doing as little as 71 yes ...Seventy One mph :eek: ....needs a bit of French style resistance methinks ......if enough people walked or stopped in front of the camera window it would make it very difficult for them to do their job

just been on the radio some one went 2 juctions and saw 4 cameras most people are doing 70

Most people down this way are not happy and the manager of the safety partnership has just been on the radio to say they WILL be allowing 10% + 2 mph leeway ...... but don't try it on because they are mobhanded ......yes there are really 7 cameras over the 41 miles

They said 79 or more would get you a fine on the BBC Breakfast News this morning, so it's the same as the SPECS on the M6... The woman doing the report said it was harsher than before, as you'd only get stopped / fined for doing >85 on there before today. Although I'm not sure I want to test it - I'll be waiting for the new update on pocketgps.co.uk, that's for sure!
