Skoda Roomster 4 Year Service - what is to be changed?

Featured Replies

I have a March 08 Roomster 1.6 automatic which has done 22190miles. (not a 1.4)

It is now due its 4 year service.

I am aware it needs a Cam Belt change as per the 4 year interval requirement @ £299 (ah ha it has a timing chain not a belt YAY)

It also had brake fluid changed 2 years ago so that also needs changing @ £59

So along with those two and the standard major servicing which is £180 from:

hxxp://www.citygate.co.uk/volkswagen/servicing/book-a-service

Should I also advise the following to be changed (as I have not had them changed from new)

Plugs @ £79

Air filter @ £35

Water Pump @ £??? - should I request a pump with metal impellers ?

Plus is there anything else required that I am forgetting?

I've just put on 4 new tyres so this year is an expensive year for servicing.

Thanks!

I am either looking at getting this down at citygate or Russell Automotive htxxp://rac-london.co.uk/

Anyone advise which I should go with?

I'll be sorting the 4yr service on my MY2008 Roomster Scout 1.9tdi next month.

I anticpate paying for

  • Cambelt
  • Waterpump
  • Oil & Filters as usual (not air filter though as it has a K&N)
