Hi all

I have just installed the Kufatec - IMA and Ampire DVBT52 TV Tuner into my car. All I need to do now is get the RNS 510 to accept the TV. In the MEDIA->VIDEO-> screen the "DVD button is highlighted but the "AV" and "TV" buttons are greyed out and wont activate.

The Documentation explains that --If the navigation unit has a software index higher than 522 the CAN-Gateway needs to be coded to TV tuner.

My Index is alot higher as the car is fairly new! I have been told that The Can Gateway 19 needs to be altered so that Byte 4 has Bit 7 ticked.

This does not work for me as the new coding is rejected !

Anyone suggest from experience an alternative Byte -Bit combination?(have also tried Byte 03 Bit 4 with no luck)

Am I right in ticking the TV Tuner box under Installation List before I alter the coding ? Tried ticked and unticked and coding change is still not accepted !

Get the message "Code rejected error 22 Conditions not correct or request sequence error "

I have my WSC, Import, and Equip No entered so this is not the cause !

Unfortunately there are no drop down help lists and tick boxes with my Can Gateway during long coding ?

Any Help would be Appreciated!

Ignore those instructions which tell you to switch a specific Byte/Bit, instead you may want to post a complete scan so we can take a closer look. If you want to give it a try, check the "Installation List" button once you've accessed [19 - CAN-Gateway] to enable/disable certain new modules/components.
