Can you wipe my engine managment light without a vcds?

Hi all... As title, i had my car read by a vcds and needed a new glow plug. Now i have fitted the glow plug is there anyway to wipe the light without a vcds...?

I think the light goes away after enough successful starts/reads without the fault being present. The number 20 stick in my mind for some reason. If you're ever around Oxford/Aylesbury way (bit of a trek I know) I can clear it for you if it stays. . .

Why not buy one of the fault code readers that are regularly discussed on here or get the shareware version of VCDS and register it? Both are relatively inexpensive options.

Hi Folks, I don't know what had happened. I got the screen washer problem last and the pump just delivered. Hello, we have an issue we can't seem to get on top of. We own a Fabia Combi Mk2 from late 2008 with a 1.4l petrol engine with a Tatarini LNG unit that's functional but we don't drive on LNG anymore. It's been ours for about 4.5 years now, an incredible car, drives silent and muuuch smoother than much newer cars like our companies' 2020 Dusters for example. We've gotten it close to 180k km on the clock, but I'd say even compared to less driven Skoda's from the 2000s it seems to be significantly

Hello, I'm new to the forums and like most people, I'm here because I've come up against something that has me stumped! I have a 2018 Karoq, with a MIB2 Amundsen head unit. Currently using the latest official maps available on an original 16GB SD Card. At some point (not sure when but let's say over the past 2-3 months), the car has stopped receiving RDS-TMC traffic events. There is also a red diagonal line running through 'TMC', which suggests there is some problem with

When I receive a call it does not now ring on the infotainment system although I can see I have a call on the screen. I wondered if it might be my phone so I tested it with my wife's, with the same result - or lack of. Both phones will ring in her car though. Any ideas please?

History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes
