went out this morning noticed my epc light was on was stuttery at low revs but has been like this 4 a while when its cold but when it got some temp in seemed ok again was running pretty much the same today only went on short journey 3 miles max came out 30 mins later and car wouldnt start eventually got it started after about 5 mins of giving it loads of gas but when u changed gear at low revs was really stuttery felt horrible got to my destination turned it off again went back out about 30 mins later started first time no problem and drove home ok with no epc light on car is 2002 mk 1 octy vrs anyone help me with what could be causing this have an appointment at garage tomorrow but am unsure if i am gonna get there any help or ppl that have had similar problems in the past would be really appreciated as i dont no where to start

Best thing you can do is invest in a fault code reader (only £20 from ebay), then if an EPC light comes up you can see what the fault code is and search for it on here:

or ask on this forum (or do a search). without the fault code we're just guessing as to what the problem may be. Hopefully even if the garage don't know what the problem is they can at least tell you what the fault code is
