Are the dashboard lights in the Octavia a wedge shape or push and twist. Looking at replacing mine but dont know which to buy. If anyone has a part number that would be great!

Which dashboard lights are you talking about?

I Think it varied on Mk1 and Mk2 Old shape Octavias IIRC, the Mk1 I believe had the push and twist integrated in the light switch wheras the MK 2 had a seperate thumbwheel control adjacent

I am looking to change the center column and the lights behind the dials. Change of colour in mind. Have found a bulb supplier but don't know which type to get.

I thought they were leds?

I think Eddie would tell you that the ones behind the dials are surface mount led's and are pretty hard to remove / change without having proper tools. Also the danger of doing some damage trying to un-solder them from the pcb could be costly.

Not exactly sure which you mean but all controls illumination is LED's. The only exception is manual AC AFAIK.
