Power socket in Fabia (saloon) boot

Featured Replies

My first Fabia (saloon 1.4 MPI Comfort - Irish spec) had a power socket in the boot - permanently live & great for a fridge in summer.

My second Fabia - 1.9 SDi Classic Estate didn't have one so I had the dealer install one when I bought it.

This time (I really like Fabias) I'm intending installing the socket in the boot of my new saloon (1.9 SDi) myself.

Can anyone tell me which wires to connect to, or I'm going to have to dismantle one of the older cars.

Thanks in anticipation.

I took one out of an Octy Estate in a scrappy and fitted it to SWMBO's Fabia in the centre console.

The Octy had a part of the loom in the back already, I suspect this would come from the fuse panel.
