Incompetant Skoda & DM Keith unable to fix my fabia

skoda customer services are incompetant,

my 61 plate fabia has intermittent electric window issues

they fail to go up or down

the diagnostics at DM KEITH say NO error.

Therefore they cannot fix my car, They cannot spend time on looking at my vehicle because without a fault code off their diagnostics machine, Skoda will not pay them to diagnose and try to find the fault under warranty.

Customer services are still months down the line looking for a solution. I get told I will be keep informed, but I do not.

Dealer is not interested, on one visit they insinuated I was telling porky pies. So the next time the fault occured i drove to the dealer left the engine running and made their mechanic view the fault.

Skoda Customer services are incompentant

I want to reject the vehicle so much . but i like the car apart from its naff fuel consumption. My aim is to annoy Skoda and be the customer from hell. Watchdog, Auto express, What car here i come.

Which windows? When? All switches?

Got a funny fault with my headlights but my dealer are spot on, even if it doesn't do the fault I describe when I go in! :)

Go to another dealer mate.

Do what you said, as that makes you feel better, but

'Dont get angry, just get them fixed' It is not like it is a big problem to a Qualified Professional to get your windows working.,

life is too short to stress over this.

Contact Skoda UK & the Dealer by Letter & Email.

(Make sure to get the Managing Director & any other Directors Email address, so that they get copies as well.)

Tell them, 'Skoda UK' Customer Services,

that they can arrange an Auto Electrician or you will, but they will be footing the bill under the warranty.

Forward those Emails to any Skoda UK address you find, like the Media/Public Relations.

Contact your local trading standards to inform them of the treatment you are recieving & then Forward the Emails to all concerned.

When you have a few spare minutes.

Just gather a few Newspaper 'Motors pages editors & Motor Magazine E Mail addresses and forward all Emails.

It usually has some person with some pull getting on to the case when they see where all the Emails are being sent and circulating.
