MAP sensor bolts?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what size these bolts are, or does anyone have 2 x spare?

Hmm, they are tiny. I imagine its an M4 thread and pretty sure its a 10mm hex top, but as for length, no idea. Probably got one in the shed (got a whole BOX of fabia bolts....) but finding it / identifying it will be tough.

Just thought - someone with ETKA might be able to find the bolt type. I've not got it as my last version I had locked itself out on me, and I've not found a version which will work well. :(

Neddle in haystack!! I need new ones as I'm certain my MAP sensor has been siliconed in place due to the bolts being f****d :-(

Hope its not the threads in the housing. Where is your MAP sensor located?

Ah just seen on the Forge motorsport site fitting instructions for Seat Leon FMIC (although 1.8T looks exactly the same set up) = M5 x 16 screws

Hope its not the threads in the housing. Where is your MAP sensor located?

I have FMIC so it's down in front of o/s wheel arch....havent tried removing it yet but can't think why silicone was needed to secure it so assuming it's a bolt issue :-(

Mine has a bit of cut-out exhaust gasket as just fitting the sensor to the bare metal housing meant it leaked slightly (smoke test proved this) - so now its got a little bit of gasket to ensure a good seal. Someone might have used silicone on yours for the same reason.

IIRC, they are M5 x 22. They are definately M5.
