Home wifi on Android problems

Featured Replies

I'm confused with this. Got a decent wifi signal at home, my phone connected to it without any problems etc... Then for some unknown reason my bro decided to change the wifi router. My lap top has no problems with connecton or the 2 other android phones in the household, but mine will connect and stay connected but sometimes the internet won't work until i turn the phone off and on, tried just turning the wifi on and off but that doesn't work. Tried forget network and reconnecting and it's the same. Just thought i'd add that it's heavily used 24/7 once connected

Thought it might be my phone but it works fine at a friend's house and other hot spots.

If you can try and change the security proctocol, i.e. WEP, WPA etc etc

I find some things can be picky about which they prefer

Fixed it by turning the router off and on last night and so far its working lol

My Android phone regularly decides there is no wifi to be seen. 10min later it's fine.
