I have a Dragon tuning box for sale, I no longer have the car so do not need the box. This may fit other VAG cars with PD 130 engines however I am not entirely sure. Really was an excellant piece of kit, roughly speaking the car made 170 bhp, kept the car pulling to the red line and made a huge difference to mpg if you watch how you drive, very cheap alternative to a remap as I am only asking for £65 delivered. This can be altered from 1-7, I never bothered as the setting it is on gave adequate performance and fuel consumtion. Does take about 10 mins to fit for a complete novice and there is instructions on here if you need them, could talk you through but without the aid of picture guide. I recently fitted one of these to my PD130. Very well recomended. Not as smooth as a remap but for the price you really can't complain!

Really does make it pull very strong and as said can really help with the MPG.

I recently managed a true MPG of 61 when we went to the lakes.

I have mine set one level above the default setting. Very entertaining... but not sure how kind it is to the tyres

Pretty much I think yes. Can't remember exactly what setting is the default but even on default it gave a good extra oomph.

Turned it up a notch on mine and all seems well. No more smoke than without it (only really visible at night in the headlights of the car behind).

Straight to the battery terminals - with a fuse in the +ve feed.

the ones underneath that panel? thats what i did in the end.

All linked up but the LED's dont apear to be lit up. Is this normal?

From memory the only LED is inside the box - this should be lit up when connected to the battery.

Yeah thats what i was talking about. Doesnt light up. Will have a play about later and see.

Would it do anything to the car if its plugged in but not connected to the battery? or would it just perform as if it didnt have the tuning box on?
