Featured Replies

Hello

i have an octavia 2009, i have an error from the vcds

16588 - Injector: Cylinder 4 (N33)

P0204 - 009 - Circuit Malfunction - Intermittent

16688 - Cylinder 4

P0304 - 009 - Misfire Detected - Intermittent

i just got these errors after they changed the 4 spark plugs at the garage

i need to know what is the defected part the spark plug or the wiring of the spark plug

thanks alot

If you try swapping the no4 spark plug over with say no3 and the fault moves to no3 then it will be the spark plug.

I found the problem

my ignition coil connector 4 is getting salting !!!!!

so i was told to change the coil, and the cable as it is getting salted too

i am planning to buy it and replace it myself

but i need to know, do i have to disconnect the battery before working or not.

and what precautions do i have to take.

will i use the vcds to configure the new ignition coil or not

Regards
