Change of stereo question?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Am I right in thinking that the 'Symphony' stereo is 'paired' to my car, and if I remove it I wont have to enter any codes or such like when I put it back in?

TIA

It should be, unless the unit has been replaced. if you have the plastic thingy that comes with the car the no is on there.

Thanks Peter

It may take a while to re-snyc though. Both my VWs need about a day to start working again after plugging them back in (only got the code for one and don't know where the other is)!

I found, oddly, that scanning the car with VCDS made it sync back up *[shrug]*.
