I bought a K&N pannel filter for my Vrs. I've been trying to take the engine cover off but it won't budge! I've tried everything to remove it, pulling it off, wedging something under the cover to lift it off, local garage can't remove it either! How do you remove this cover? Do i need a special tool to do the job? Skoda dealer has told me they can remove it but at a charge. Can anyone please give me some advise as to how to remove it? It can't surely be this difficult can it?
