Brembo gt kits

Featured Replies

Better discs than OEM LCR ones. I'd be inclined to go for the slotted/grooved discs over the drilled ones - less cracking after a good beating!

Quite expensive though - but at least you know they will be perfect and you're not having to take a punt on something second hand.

Anyway Lloyd with your big wheels you need bigger discs than 323mm! You need some like mine!

Id happily have your brakes :)

But my winters are these

What is it yours is wearing theses days bud :)

You'd need spacers to get those over the 323mm discs and Brembo calipers Lloyd. Or get some 18 inch wheels for the winter

I think Billy said he had to use 5mm spacers to get his 17inch spiders over LCR Brembos. It drives crap as well with spacers on but if it's only for the winter (and you don't use your car much) it won't be a problem I guess

Drives crap ? ? ? In what way mate

I got h & r pcd adaptors on the bbs's

Maybe i just dont know any different :D or is it better lol

Its a fair bit of saving away yet but i thought id look into ready

Lol still on my gauges project and catch can

Also eyeing up a shiny abd manifold as it looks sooo funky :D i need one lol

Hands up all those interested in a bank heist

Think he said his tends to tramline with spacers on the 17inch spiders hopefully he'll spot the thread and comment

?ar will d?íve fine on 5 mm spacers slighly larger track is good for handling ;-)

Buy second hand and just buy a rebuild kit then there like new and will only cost about 500

yup it doesnt drive cr*p with spacers, with cheap cr*p alloys it might do, but i ran 15mm wide spacers on the front (wider track), and my car was one of the best fwd cars i have ever drove.

Off topic but Luca do you have VAG-Com? I need to do a TB clean and reset on my Feli at some point. Beer tokens in exchange

yes i do matey, drop me a pm to sort no probs:>

Still got the 8"x18" TD Pro Race 1.2's on (ET35).

Had enough of spending money on mine now - tbh i've run out of meaningful things to do to it! I just enjoying driving it (45-50miles) everyday. BUT....That A6 Avant (3.0TDi Quattro Le Mans) is getting ever closer....if someone was to offer me 8k for mine that is..

Surely an early motor like the Felicia will sort itself out like the Octy does? I've never had to **** about with a reset yet, and I've removed mine completely three times now, with NO issues.

Nope, tried disconnecting the battery and all that and it definately does need a reset with VCDS :(

I agree on gettin some off the lcr, half the price.

Yup 5mm spacers needed, even needed 3mm for the TD PR1.2's.

Yup it did drive crap! Was better with 5mm on the rear too to match them up. Even with hubcentric spacers I still found a slight wobble at speed too and yup it was tramlining and the hard lock steering you do to maneuver and park wqas crap! You could hear and feel the tyres scrubbin. Like it was understeering while parking. Hence why I have lcr rims and put the std 312+n fopr winter.

I am very fussy tho and everything has to be perfect.

I will try the spacers again on the fabia and see if they are the same on there. Not a fan tho so far.

What? You fussy Billy never! lol

that was down to your spacers or your wheels or your tyres Billy as said before!

On decent quality hubcentric spacers you should get no wheel wobble, you say even with hubcentrics.....so you put non hubcentric spacers on first....??? thats gonna caue no end of problems if you did!

A wider track with quality spacers like these http://www.europerfo...l?product=24105 should cause no issue, or feel any different to a stock car.

If you are fussy, buy some new spacers for one, check your tyre/wheel balancing even the make of tyre can cause tramlining.

Running spacers should be no more complicated than running any other aftermarket product on you car.

I tried everything.

I had 3 sets of rims with diff tyres on that all worked spot on without spacers. I chopped and changed doing multiple variables and with the spacers fitted the was not nice to drive but without them it was good.

First I was given some crappy universal ones I used and tbh they wer ok till 50+ mph but a pig to fit, only used them for a few days while the Hubcentric ones came.

I then put the hubcentrics on and there was no reall wobble at normal speeds, only very slight but bareable but the car was very twitchy and hard to keep in a straight line.

Remember tho that I only used the car for going to n from work mostly mways.. for track use it prob would be good but for cruising I didnt like it. I removed the brembos for the 312 and used the same wheels and tyres and OMG what a nice drive it was, spiders (225 45 17 toyo T1r) TD pro race 1.2 (225 40 18 452's) the falkens are not the best anyway but they seemed to be embellished with the spacers bot 3mm and 5mm.

If the Spiders dont sell Ill try them on the car again when she is up n running with spacers both front and rear and then just front and see, If I get a spare 40 notes Ill try them eibach ones too but I read thry some stuff a bit back and it said the smaller spacers were not hubcentrics? only the 10mm up ones (each side)??

forgot to add I also had a second set of spiders with Michelin Pilot sports on 224 45 17 and the LCR rims with 452's on 225 40 18, good without and ****e with spacers, no other changes but the spacers.
