Yes 2010 was when they stopped making them sadly.

I had the exact same car as listed even in Silver too. They all have the 100bhp AXR PD engine which is a very good engine and economical.

I picked up an ex-taxi TDI from someone I knew for... £150 and my MPI in swap. I kid you not!

I then swapped out the seats for some Bora sport seats for £100... Did a cambelt/water pump change and a full service... And my local indy has commented "God I love your car - even more so considering what it cost!"

It was bang on.

I'd have no qualms about buying a taxi - provided it's been looked after mechanically and you have proof of it, i'd probably trust getting a taxi over getting a normal car as chances are it will have had a lot more spent on it to keep it roadworthy.
