Ok guys.............. after a few question and friendly folk asking

I thought id start us a Bristol meet thread

Ive been thinking and ive came up with a random idea

HOWS JULY ? FEEL FREE TO PUT YOUR AVAILABLE SUNDAYS

1 - Meet at PIZZA HUT AVONMEADS ( any who wish to eat can, any who dont can arrange a later time )

2 - I was thinking that we could roll round to the rear of the showcase as its a bit bare and empty for some group pics to start ( maybe some good black and white etc as its a bit run down ish so ,may work )

3 - Take a liitle run from there towards the cumberland basin ( A4 bath road > Clarence rd > Commercial rd > Cumberland rd ) this could be a chance for pics if any arty folk among us get ideas

4 - We could then do a nice run "loop" up the A4 > out along the A403 > Back round the M48 >M4 > M5 j17 Cribbs> ( this would very much vary on the briskies that join in - its a nice clear drive most of the time on weekends and evenings and pace would personal pref ) im sure we could find some photo ops to along here " theres a road marked passage road that may take us towards water lol ............... PICS ?????

5 - Cribbs has the VENUE so at this point is where im thinking some BOWLING AT HOLLYWOOD BOWL could be a fun way to chill and chat

6 - There is plenty up there so i thought anyone wishing to join or leave could do so freely and easily or if any fancy doing more eating there is all sorts their like CHIQUITOS / FRANKIE AND BENNYS / TGI FRIDAYS AND MORE

2B - This is my back up plan if preffered or if RAINING ........... From PIZZA HUT AVONMEAND we could head around to LONGWELL GREEN ASPECTS LEISURE PARK, There they have a underground car park section so could still get some nice group photos

3B - Here there is also BOWLING AT BOWLPLEX and lots of after options much like cribbs

Or from PIZZAHUT AVONMEADS we could just go THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL there

Anyways.. 1st thing ..... Whos up for something

Just to mention again tho, it was only a random thought that popped in my head, i appreciate that costs and tastes may vary, which is why im trying to plan so people can come / go or skip bits as they please

I'm up for this. I work 3 of 4 weekends though so doubt I could ever make a meet :-(.

I do work on Cribbs Causeway though so if a meet happens in that area whilst I'm at work I could develop some strange illness haha.

Slightly off topic, I'm surprised I've never seen your car around Bristol, I did once see a red vRS in the car park at work although it was completely standard so that wasn't you .

Haha that might explain it. I've seen a few around recently, one evening I followed a black Mk1 through Bradley Stoke on my way home, don't think he's on here though.

I work at Halfords, s****** all you like haha . I'm the audio 'specialist'.

The 10th is probably the only weekend I can guarantee I'm off for now, I expect with it being Volksfest weekend I could get a few friends to drop by too (old school Polo's, Volvos and a Civic track car).

Last year we left mid afternoon so that could make for a decent afternoon meet and a drive somewhere if it's good weather?

I just realised it starred out snigg3r. Makes me look like I said something worse now haha.

It's not too bad working there but I rarely get weekends to myself now. When I had my old E36 I only managed 1 club meet in an entire year because of it.

The Pioneer looks very nice! Could possibly order them in specially though . We don't even sell many decent stereos at the moment, I bought the last semi decent one for pennies (Sony XAV622), not brilliant by any means but now I have more excuses to do bits to the car. I even ordered a reversing camera to go with it .

There's sometimes decent weather here . Thinking about it though the reason we left Volksfest early last year was because it hammered down.

Yer lloyd free most sundays. Work hard all week so relax on the weekend. Just got to give the boss some notice (the misses).

Good marker points, and also everyone need to eat so it works well, im trying to think more socialble, so grub n bowling jumped to mind, plotting some idea for group pics too.. I have few ideas but i'll go for a scout

And as people join in we can alter as needed

All this tho is just avoiding the main pointer ...

Also if i place us at a either cribbs , longwell 9or avonmeads theres alot of options if anyone wants to leave the group
