Clutch choice?

Featured Replies

Hi all, so the clutch has decided to start slipping on my vrs, ive read numerous threads about different clutch kits but never really got a good answer, shall i stay dm or go smf?? i have got a stage 1 revo map...... would like to know what people think and what to recommend, also if you change to smf how does the clutch pedal feel? cheers guys

If your not going for 200+ Stick with the DMF so you don't have to put up with everyone telling you your car sounds ****** lol.

Im going back to a DMF as the noise is too much for me!

ive seen a few smf kits online that claim to be 'silent' like the one on awesome gti.....dont know what there like probably crud lol

I got mine changed to a SMF and am happy with it. There is slight "noise" while in Neutral, other than this, the Car is smooth like butter. There was no change in Cluth Pedal feel after the installation.

BTW, my replacement SMF was a SACHS Clutch + some unbranded Flywheel
