i have a 51 plate vrs and it has jus started making a nocking noise at low speeds and on breaking, but alot more under breaking ..

i have asked a few local dealers and have been told it could be drop links or anti roll bar bushes....

does any 1 have any idea as its getting annoying now

Have you replaced the parts that were suggested to you? or are you just trying to gather more ideas?

Does it happen under acceleration as well? if just under braking then it could be what has been suggested to you or any of the other parts that move under braking, so options could be calipers / loose subframe / Any of the suspension or arm balljoints.

Does it come from both sides or one side in particular? if it comes from both sides is the noise/problem more on one side than the other or the same, because problems with ball joints on both sides don't tend to happen at exactly the same time, so one will go, the the other might go shortly after.

Let us know the answers to the questions I've asked and then Ill try and feed back if I know or it might help someone else to give you some ideas

drop links, arb bushes or top mounts, however as stated could be any part of the suspension/braking setup..get it checked!
