pd100 tuning!

Featured Replies

hi guys iv seen there has been a few threads about people wanting to upgrade their pd100's with pd130 parts. i have a good source for parts and he can get me anything from a pd130 for a decent price my list of what i believe i need is:

  1. pd130 turbo
  2. manifold pd 130
  3. pd 130 intercooler ( but i have seen the tx autosport one any reviews for this?)
  4. pd 130 injectors
  5. custom stealth catback exhaust
  6. 3 bar maf ?
  7. custom map
  8. then 312mm breaks
  9. southbend clutch upgrade possibly?

is this all that is required to get me to a comfortable 180 ish + bhp

the reason i am not buying a polo gt because its so rare to find a decent spec car like mine (winter pack, electronic climate, cruise etc...) the car is on 110000 miles ish

my only worry is that will my gearbox be able to take this power and the engine still hold its reliability with mpg?

would be very grateful for anyone who has done a similar upgrade and not changed their engine to a pd130 :)

cheers guys and girls.

That is all

mate he has a pd130 conversion not a pd100 converted... but i shall pop a pm over to the dude. thanks

He started with a pd100 before mongrel-ling it ;)

Better going for a gt1749vb of a pd150 along with pd130/150 injectors and the 3bar map sensor. Should give you 190bhp ish. Pd130 turbo is good for about 170/175bhp.

No need to change exhaust.
