Thanks mate, I have already checked for air leaks but can't seem to see anything wrong, how do I check if my maf is not working properly?

Hi and welcome aboard.

Thanks mate, I have already checked for air leaks but can't seem to see anything wrong, how do I check if my maf is not working properly?

Unplug your MAF plug and go for a drive. If the car drives better, your MAF is gone. If the car drives worse with the MAF unplugged, then the MAF is not your problem.

I have just replaced my MAF, as my car was stuttering, and running poorly. When I unplugged the MAF it stopped. Have a new MAF on now and car running fantastic .... so it's a good little test. ;)

PS.. Don't be tempted to drive around long term with the MAF unplugged as fuel economy drops a lot. Mine went from avg 33 to avg 24 with the MAF unplugged.
