high please help my steering wheel had to be removed air bag light wont go off error code says

00588 airbag ignighter,driver side(n95) resistance too high

You need to reset the error with VCDS.

If it still won't go out, you need to check that airbag unit and slip ring are connected.

Does the horn work?

No it don't nor does the radio controls on it either

Sounds like the slip ring is not connected or more likely installed in the wrong position.

The slip ring must be installed with the wheel in the straight ahead position. When the slip ring is in the right position you can see a coloured (yellow?) mark through the hole in the top right of the restoring ring. The clip on the restoring ring must be at the top centre and the sensor must be aligned.

It is possible that you have broken the slip ring if it was installed in the wrong position. Also check fuse F10.

If you broke the slip ring, then you will get different errors for ESP and ABS also.
