Possible Cambelt issue?

Featured Replies

Evening All,

Just got back from taking the mrs home and she lives down some horrible dirt track with speed bumps, and i hit one to hard and now the car doesn't sound right. it sounds like a hollow metal sound clicking in time with the engine, taken a video of the sound and if i put it in neutral the sound quietens and the faster i drive the quick the sound goes, I'm hoping its a bearing or a belt or something. any help would be great.

oh and if it helps nothing is leaking, and i have no loss in power.

Cheers mike

Maybe a broke engine mount of gearbox mount from the impact?

Sounds like maybe a exhaust heat sheild as taken a whack and come loose, get it on a ramp!. Is it lowered?.
