JOM Coilovers

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Just about to pick my 2nd RS up again after terable withdrawrals.

I've seen JOM coinovers advertised for £195 a set with 2 year warrenty.

Seen some of the Dubbers using them and not heard anything bad, but wondered if Briskodians had tryed them our and what feedback they could give?

Link btw... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Coilover-Lowering-springs-Kit-741072-SKODA-FABIA-/360460842827?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AFabia%7CCars+Type%3A1.9+TDI+RS&hash=item53ed23f74b

TIA

Dave

I have joms, there good but the rides a bit firm. Car handles mint though so planted and i have no rarb or strut braces or anything just joms.

You will need shorter drop links too if you buy the joms. Mondeo mk1 ones work fine.

Nice one Biggy7

Why for JOM's and not for my Weitecs then?

And what age are MK1 Mondeo's (I have little to do with Fords)

Weitec's are known to have the mount point for the droplink adjusted after an early batch to accommodate the standard length droplink.

these ones mate: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d009839c3

or for some Alloy type ones: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3a561beec5

also in the mean time, have you thought about changing the front top mounts, front top mount bearings, front wishbone front bushes, console bushes, ARB bushes?

that way everything is renewed and they can be done whilst the struts are off the car
