The write up says , Auto lock when car reaches 15km , Auto Unlock on removal of Key , my octy does not have this at present although it does have the normal remote lock for elegance spec .

Won't it be a bit like the "free" alignment check they always offer you at the tyre shop, which always ends up with you forking out

Well, I got a brochure through, and might see on Saturday if I can get mine in, and get them to look at the damn rust on the offside rear wing. :(

As my car hasn't been dealer serviced for a while, it will be interesting to see if they spot anything.

I've just disabled auto lock on mine (with a VAG-COM) and also the 2 stage unlocking. I got fed-up with the latter because of the number of times I had to relock then unlock the car again to allow the passenger doors and boot to be opened. The former used to alarm passengers and children when all 5 locking solenoids operated together whilst driving off. I now use the button on the driver's door if I want to lock all the doors for security or safety reasons.

Thats my opinion Dennis, in the Octavia RS its very loud when I manually set the locks when felt its required, the Supurb has a much softer locking thud.
