I went along to the Brisky JKM meet last weekend, since I was curious what the car would actually read. JKM's dyno is regarded as being very accurate, and the meet had 25 Skoda, VW and Seat cars attending.

First up was MissPiggy's Fabia 1.9TDI Sport, which ran a very respectable 121.3bhp! It's worth mentioning that that is a standard 105bhp PD engine.

A couple of cars later and it was my turn, I had no idea what to expect from the TSI, so my eyes popped out when it ran 123.9bhp! Again, that's with no mods at all. A few of the Seat and Golf guys wandered over to have a look afterwards!

My favourite car of the day was a black Seat Leon Cupra. It had no external mods at all, it sat a bit lower than standard and had R888 track tyres on. It ran 369bhp. That's my kind of modding

Nice - I have been to jkm several times and always been surprised with my results!

16500 miles when it went on the dyno.

good effort mike, I knew you seemed to keep up pretty well on the drives
