Morning All - Central locking issue Skoda Fabia

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just purchased a Skoda Fabia on 58 plate ( Tdi 80 )

Was advised that this model doesnt have a key fob to control the Central locking/alarm

So have to lock/unlock car with the key it self.

My question is:

Is that correct that no key fob is available for this model?

When locking the car, you turn the key anti clocwise first

To open the car door, have to turn the key clockwise twice. Is that how it should be?

Next issue is when inside the car and press the central locking button near the gear stick, when lock it and then unlocking it,

The driver side door does not open. Like its dead lock. however rest of the car doors open. The driver side door doesnt open from inside or out. Even when on ignition mode or with the engine on or even after driving it. Got to leave it for a while and then just opens. What could be cause of that?

By sounds of the above scenerio, is there an issue with the central locking system or am i doingg something incorrect

Any help and advice would be appreciated :)

Thanks
