Green panel filter for Furby vRS

Featured Replies

Howdy,

Does anyone have a picture of what the filter looks like for a Fabia vRS? If so, please post  If not, can anyone describe it's shape please?

Thanks a lot :)

Also might be being thick but....Where does it go? i.e. any photos of where to put it in the engine bay!????

Cheers

Mark,

the filter looks just like standard except the filter part, cotton gauze and metal mesh are green.

As for it's placement, IIRC, it's in the black box behind the battery i.e the box closest to the windscreen. I believe it has some ribbing on the top. The battery will have a cover on it and is behind the nearside headlamp.

Not got a pic as I'm damned if I'm going to try and get the air box lid off again without taking the strut brace off ;) Basic shape is:

.----

|. . . \

|. . . . \

.-------

And it just lays flat inside the air box of the car (just to the right of the engine cover and behind the battery......

Look at Ross Clarke's gallery, theres a picture in there I think.

Thanks Chris,

I've just got one and it is that shape but I got scared when I saw it as I had the impression of an oblong shape for some reason.

I would also have a bit of difficulty comparing it to the original as i don't get the car until Saturday ;)

Cheers
