Aircon Refill

Featured Replies

I used it (but got it from Halfrauds) on my last vRS and it turned out I never needed it. The gauge told me everything was fine.

I know a few that have used them on older cars and it's worked well.

You could get a proper vacuum and regas from an air con specialist for the same price.

My recent vacuum, pressure test and regass with a dye added to show any future leaks was a fiver less than that diy option..

As said above, you could get it done properly for that price. Air con is filled by weight of gas( sticker on slam panel with correct weight) not pressure. Also the correct amount of oil is required also, if you google these so called refil cans, you will find that they are commonly called cans of doom.

well this is interestin' I have used interdynamics stuff for a few years and just bought the latest recyclable can from our friends at helfrauds (who I understood had sole rights over here) the can in the e-bay pic is slightly different mine says "ezchill-AUTO AIR con etc so that may be gray import/change of label or from our friends at the china div the new cans are less likely to leak when not in use than the old ones but the guages are now modded to allow for the ambient air temp this can has topped up 3 cars so far and is only half gone the only other snag I can see is remembering were you put your reciept p.s. before buying the ebay stuff I would check with Interdynamics just checked the halfords equivalent would be approx£55 but you get a free sanitizer can thrown in and the filler pipe is of course reusable next time
