Leak from windscreen

Featured Replies

After being away from home for 3 weeks I came back to a dead car and assumed the battery had just run low having been left for so long. That was until I noticed a 3 inch deep pool of water in the passenger footwell!

Turns out there has been a leak in the windscreen somewhere down that side. The electrics were goosed having been sitting under water.

The car is a whole 8 months old and this is the second quite big issue after the heating/air motor had to be replaced.

Quite disappointing after hearing about the suppossed build quality!

It's going to be away for two weeks until they can replace and re-upholster.

In the meantime they have given me a Vauxhall Insignia estate. Not sure I like it overall but the steering is excellent and sure, the previous Superb experience feels a bit heavy and wooly compared.
