Centre bore for the hub is too small, it's 38mm on a Subaru and 42mm for the Škoda... I think?

Subaru bore is 56.1mm, Skoda is 57.1mm

however as said above the centre bore is too small

if you can find a willing lathe worker you could bore out the centres to make them fit

Oh right thanks guys so is it possible for them to be bored and any ideas where I'd go

local engineering place. most likely in/near/around industrial areas. wouldn't cost too much to do I believe. tbh if you know someone at college with a lath you could probably do it there...

Would you not need a milling machine rather than a lathe? Not sure if there os as many of them about but i could be wrong

if chrisw880 is correct and it is only 1mm you need to shave off then a bit of 80 grit sand paper would suffice!! you would struggle to take 1mm off with any industrial machine!

Offset is rather different. Typically 50ish instead of 40ish, plus they're likely to be 7J rather than 6.5J. So they'll sit slightly further in the arch and the inside rim will be far closer to the arch protector.

Impreza turbos have had wheels from 15s through 18s fitted standard spec. IMO 6.5J is either old or from a non-turbo model.

Do it! I had to take a few mm off the centre bore and bolt holes but love my Super Turismos

When I chopped in my OZ Superturismo's to pit8ull they were from a scooby and I had the centre bore re-bored to suit VAG.

Has to be a classic shape scooby for them to fit as newer ones are 5x114.3.

Well, not quite...

Anything before the MY2005 STI. Classics, bugeyes, blob eyes, even hawk WRXs are 5x100. Though the bugeye onwards STI had wheels with a slightly "friendlier(!?!) offset of 46 or thereabouts as opposed to 52 or thereabouts.
