One of the buttons in my Octavia vRS key (the 'lock' one as it happens) has broken so the key constantly transmits the lock signal to car. Easily remedied by removing the battery but now I'm back to manual locking!

Is it possible to get a new PCB for the key and have it coded to match the car?

Just go onto ebay and get a key starting with the code 1u, take both keys apart and swap the key blade and transponder over then programme the key by putting the new key in the ignition switched on and with the drivers window open lock the door using the spare key in the door lock then press unlock twice on the key in the ignition.

You can also buy a 3 button key with boot unlock as I did

SCRAP that just read it again!! You can buy new cases quite cheaply off ebay looks like thats all you need m8!!
